OUR HISTORY

In 2007, answering a clear call from God, Pastor Gerhard Kgobetsi and his wife Mitchell arrived in the northern part of Namibia, Oshakati to pioneer a work. With great faith and dedication, they established the church, shepherding its early growth with the same foundational principles of personal evangelism, discipleship and church planting that birthed the movement.

For 16 years, under their visionary leadership, the church flourished. The Gospel fire that was lit in Oshakati began to spread, igniting hearts and communities across the region. Faithful to the CFC mandate of training and sending, the church planted and launched new congregations in towns throughout the North: Ongwediva, Ondangwa, Outapi, Eenhana, Omuthiya, Okahao, Okongo, and Ruacana.

This tremendous work of multiplication stands as a testament to their faithful service. In 2023, following the leading of the Lord, Pastor Gerhard Kgobetsi and his wife answered a new call to pioneer a work in Bremen, Germany, entrusting the future of the Oshakati church to the next generation of leaders.

The legacy of strong, discipleship-based leadership continues today under the care of Pastor Arcaju Ndaka and his wife Glannis Ndaka. They now pastor the congregation with the same Spirit-filled passion, committed to advancing God’s Kingdom and seeing the Gospel continue to transform lives in Oshakati and beyond.

We are not just a church; we are a part of a global family of over 4000 churches, and our story is still being written.
